Somehow my internet is good now

After months and months of complaining about bad internet speeds, blocked web sites, hitting the walls and screaming on a daily basis because I just could not take it anymore, I have solved my internet crisis.

Yes, I still find web sites that I cannot access that I actually want to access (Huffintonpost.com).  But I have found ways around them that not only give me access to all sites but the bandwidth is not longer limited.  I can download from pretty much any site now and get speeds over 200 kb / sec.

For those of you who are thinking, Sean, gimme a break here.  Who cares.  It’s just your internet, its not actually important.  Well actually if you think about it, I spend more time on the internet than I do anything else (well, maybe I spend more time sleeping, which reminds me, why does my mattress feeling like a wood floor??).  I work all day on the internet, I program, I listen to podcasts, I download videos.  In fact, when it really comes down to it, my entire life is focused on the internet, especially in China where I have less access to the American TV I would probably watch or the newspapers and magazines I would probably read if I had access to them.  Instead, I need the internet for these things.

Now if MSNBC could only video podcast the DNC coverage this week, I would be in ultimate nerd heaven.

Oh noez, Seano has more bandwidth than his comrades, time to allocate that extra bandwidth and even it out across the masses. I think our Sean is getting too bourgeoisie. DAAAAAH MOTHALAND!
