I am now closing in on two weeks here in Shanghai and I cant believe it has gone by this quickly. Almost all like a blur, its a very strange feeling.
First, apologies for not communicating via blog sooner, I know all my readers are dying to get the latest scoop on the saga of Sean Fannan’s life, I know I am. Second, I realize this is a new domain and you are all used to the old blog, http://fannaninchina.blogspot.com, BUT unfortunately, I now have to live under the guise of the wonderful Chinese authorities
;);) who have conveniently decided to block Blogger, the blogging software and free web hosting tool which the former blog was run. So long story short, I have this AWESOME new and clever name, Turn The Fan On (get it, like my last name
… and it will work out better in the long run.
Alright, so I also have a new idea about posting messages to the blog. I am going to try and add a picture with each blog post and I am going to try and add a new article each and every day. Understandably, some will be shorter than others because I am trying to start a business here, if you know what I mean, not trying to start a travel blog site. Travel blog sites = no mullah….
I have already experienced so many crazy things which I am sure some of the inner circle family members have been circulating to the fullest extent already. But the next couple days should be rather mundane, so we can play some catch up.
Until then, word to your mother …
P.S. This is the first of many humorous signs in Shanghai: (reminds me of a sign I saw in a public bathroom in the U.S. one time)
woohoo! such a nice picture~
I am in Singapore now, my buddy.
