Hahahaha - we’ve all become soft. Great story and I gotta admit I like my ‘comfy bum’ TP as well. Many (many, many) years ago when was in the Military, the TP that they used to issue us for use in the barracks was more like tracing or greaseproof paper. It was 0% absorbent and tended to smear the mess rather than clean it up. Nightmare stuff!!

However, I have a cheap solution for you. Get yourself a stock of China Daily’s - you can ‘borrow’ them from any good hotel - and keep them in the house. It’s as good as the TP your in-laws prefer and let’s face it, it’s all that China Daily is good for anyway.

my grandparents like to use that kind of toilet paper…haha…it’s just a tradition or habit. generations older than 60 have a habit of saving due to their early hard time. I can understand. I think what we can do is to respect their choice.

My old in-laws liked to piss and do the morning shit in a bowl and sprinkle it on our garden…. later picking some veges out for our dinner. That is when they weren’t yelling at each other and cursing and spitting…

Seems this toilet paper issue is a face saving gesture, and a poor excuse of one! Maybe you should ditch this dumb bitch or at least forbid the in-bred peasant relatives from coming over. Just send her to them before you have to pay for the entire extended family’s house, education….

If not, as some others here had a similiar experience, then I again mis-judged how fuck up these people are. have fun with the inlaw problems as they grow worse each day…..
